Product development and database expert Michael Rothaus brings years of software development and technology consulting to the FannoTek team. As a partner at the computer software and technology company Argentek, he designed the database technology for testing HPLC (High Performance Liquid Chromatography) manufacturing processes and developed end-user software for the recreational vehicle insurance marketplace. Mr. Rothaus is also known for his work in the pharmaceutical industry, designing databases for FDA-approved IND clinical studies in a variety of therapeutic areas, including cardiovascular, oncology, gastrointestinal, immunology, CNS, and respiratory diseases.
Mr. Rothaus has worked as a Systems Engineer at SmithKline Corporation and on biotechnology projects for Centocor, Inc. He also served as a member of IBM’s Deep Blue team, which in 1997 created the first computer chess program to defeat a human (World Chess Champion Garry Kasparov).
Mr. Rothaus obtained a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in 1983.
